Enquadramento e proximidade na tira de Calvin (UERJ 2016)

Tira dominical de Calvin e Haroldo, em dez quadrinhos dispostos em três faixas. No primeiro, os dois estão deitados no chão com um livro, e Calvin lê: "It says here that ‘religion is the opiate of the masses.’ ... What do you suppose that means?". No segundo aparece só um televisor ligado, e a resposta: "... it means Karl Marx hadn’t seen anything yet...". Na segunda faixa, quatro quadrinhos: Haroldo pergunta "What are you watching?"; Calvin responde "Garbage. This show would insult a 6-year-old! And I should know."; em primeiro plano, Haroldo insiste "So why watch it?" e Calvin retruca "All the other shows are even worse!"; em seguida Haroldo pergunta "Why watch TV at all then?" e Calvin responde "There’s nothing to do.". Na terceira faixa, Haroldo aparece em close, de braços abertos: "Nothing to do?! You could read a book! Or write a letter! Or take a walk!"; depois, já calmo: "When you’re old, you’ll wish you had more than memories of this tripe to look back on.", e Calvin concorda: "Undoubtedly.". A proximidade é efeito de enquadramento, não de diálogo: no quadrinho 7 Haroldo aparece em primeiro plano, de braços abertos, cortado pelas bordas da moldura, enquanto reage com “Nothing to do?! You could read a book! Or write a letter! Or take a walk!”. O distrator mais forte é o quadrinho 5, em que ele também surge grande ao perguntar “So why watch it?”; ali, porém, Calvin continua visível ao fundo e a cena permanece inteira dentro do quadro, o que mantém a distância.
