O superlativo irregular de "good" é "the best". "The better" é comparativo e "the goodest" não existe.
2 February is ___ month of the year.
Para destacar um entre todos usamos o superlativo: "the shortest". "The shorter" é comparativo, usado para comparar apenas dois.
3 Mount Everest is ___ mountain in the world.
O superlativo pede "the" + adjetivo com -est: "the highest". "Highest" sozinho, sem "the", é um erro comum nesse tipo de frase.
4 She is ___ student in the class.
Adjetivos longos formam o superlativo com "the most": "the most intelligent". "The more intelligent" é comparativo e "intelligentest" não existe.
5 That was ___ day of my life.
"Happy" vira "the happiest" no superlativo (y → iest). "Most happiest" mistura duas formas de superlativo, o que é incorreto.
6 The Nile is one of ___ rivers in the world.
Na estrutura "one of the..." usamos o superlativo: "one of the longest rivers". "The longer" é comparativo.
7 Escolha a frase correta:
O superlativo irregular de "bad" é "the worst". "Baddest" e "most bad" são formas que não existem no inglês padrão.
8 My grandfather is ___ person in my family.
O superlativo precisa do artigo "the": "the oldest". Sem "the" a frase fica incompleta, e "the older" é comparativo.
9 This is ___ expensive hotel in the city.
Adjetivos longos formam o superlativo com "the most": "the most expensive". "The more" é comparativo.
10 Who is ___ player on your team?
Entre todos os jogadores do time, usamos o superlativo irregular "the best". "Better" compara apenas dois e "goodest" não existe.
