Think of markers as traffic signs: 'moreover' means keep going straight, 'nevertheless' means sharp turn ahead, 'in a nutshell' means final destination.

Para generalizar com honestidade, como em "By and large, the feedback has been positive".
Para concessão elegante dentro da frase com 'albeit', como em "The project succeeded, albeit at a high cost".

Contraste entre frases Frase. + However / Nevertheless / Nonetheless, + frase

The evidence was weak. Nevertheless, the jury convicted him. — As provas eram fracas. Mesmo assim, o júri o condenou.

Concessão com albeit afirmação + albeit + adjetivo/advérbio/frase curta

It was a victory, albeit a costly one. — Foi uma vitória, ainda que custosa.

Mudança de rumo Having said that / That said, + frase

The app is expensive. That said, it saves me hours every week. — O aplicativo é caro. Dito isso, ele me poupa horas toda semana.

Consequência formal Therefore / Hence / Consequently, + frase

Sales dropped sharply; consequently, the store closed. — As vendas caíram bruscamente; consequentemente, a loja fechou.
